I received my PhD in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto in 2010 and my MA in Religion and Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1998; currently I am completing a Master Universitario program at the Pontifical University of Saint Anselm (Rome). In 1995 and 1997 I worked on archaeological sites (Iron Age, Roman period, early Islamic period) in Jordan.
During the years 2011-2013 I was an assistant professor in the Department of Religion and Culture here at Laurier.
On the one hand, I am intrigued especially by New Testament studies and Christian origins. On the other hand, I am most fascinated by Gandhian studies, as well as Christianity and reception of the Bible in India, past and present.
Although I am contract teaching faculty, I would be delighted to supervise students, where permitted, in the areas of biblical studies (historical criticism, reception history); the history of Christianity; Christianity in India; and the study of Mahatma Gandhi.
