I was born in Toronto and hold a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance from Wilfrid Laurier University and an Associate Diploma the from Royal Conservatory (ARCT) in Piano Performance. I have studied piano with Joseph Ferretti, Elaine Lau, and Clayton Scott.
More recently, I participated in the Noordbroek Organ Academy (Noordbroek, NL), which focuses on studying organ works of the North German Baroque on historic instruments. During the Academy, I participated in lessons and masterclasses given by organists Dr. Christiaan Teeuwsen and Peter Westerbrink.
I am an active performer in Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding area. As a Suzuki Piano teacher and a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, I maintain an active piano studio at the Laurier Academy of Music and Arts and teach organ privately in Waterloo. I am also the Music Director at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waterloo, where in addition to serving as organist I direct a mixed-voice choir and handbell choir.
My goal is to equip students with a foundation of technical and musical skills, and help them develop an appreciation for the instrument.
