We are thrilled to host the renowned Chilean-born Latin percussionist Rodrigo Chavez for an exclusive residency at our Faculty of Music on January 24th and 25th. Join us for an exciting exploration of Latin American rhythms, songs, and dance in an interactive and educational environment.

About Rodrigo Chavez

Rodrigo Chavez is a highly skilled percussionist known for his expertise in various Latin American musical traditions. With his diverse background and extensive experience, Rodrigo brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for music that promises an engaging and enriching experience for attendees.

Latin Percussion Workshop

Join us for an immersive drumming workshop led by Rodrigo Chavez himself. This interactive session will delve into the captivating rhythms, songs, and dances from Latin America. Participants will have the opportunity to explore drumming techniques and gain insights into the history and geography of various Latin American nations.

From Salsa to Samba, Cha-cha to Calypso, Cumbia to Conga, and much more, this workshop promises an unforgettable musical journey. All instruments will be provided, and participants of all skill levels are welcome.
