Print | PDFJoin us in congratulating recent Laurier alumna and percussionist Madison Kaets (BMus '24) along with current trumpet student Keri Bailey as they embark on an incredible journey to Gwangju-Gyeonggi, South Korea, for the WASBE Youth Wind Orchestra (WYWO)!
The WYWO has been a cornerstone of the international WASBE Conferences, uniting talented young musicians from around the world to perform wind band repertoire at the highest level. In July 2024, Madison and Keri will represent Canada and Laurier internationally, immersing themselves in a week-long musical experience and collaborating with esteemed conductors, composers, and musicians of international acclaim.
WYWO's mission is to unite participants through the universal language of music, and we couldn't be prouder to have Madison and Keri representing Laurier and Canada on this global stage.
Best of luck, Madison and Keri! Your Laurier family is cheering you on every step of the way.
