I received my BSc in Mathematics and Physics from the University of New Brunswick in 1982 and my MSc in Physics from the University of Waterloo in 1985. Before coming to Laurier I spent a year at the College de la Gaspesie in Quebec as a Professor of Physics and Mathematics.
I'm interested in physical computing; developing hardware and software to make useful real world devices which solve real world problems. I like to share my work, and like open platforms like Linux, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and I use open source software almost exclusively.
