Laura Allan is an assistant professor in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. In addition to her teaching, Laura is also the director of innovation & entrepreneurship for the university. Previously Laura was the academic director for entrepreneurship and the executive director of the Schlegel Center for Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation. She has acted as academic editor, written chapters and been co-author on 3 different introduction to Canadian business textbooks.
Her greatest passion is supporting young purpose-driven entrepreneurs. She is currently the AshokaU Changemaker Campus change leader and a John Dobson Fellow, and was named the national John Dobson Enactus Fellow of the Year in 2021. She is also the faculty advisor for Laurier's Enactus team, mentoring student teams to build socially and environmentally focused enterprises and compete against other campus teams worldwide. The team was named national champions and global runners-up for 2021 and 2022.
