Waterloo Campus Power Interruptions - Monday, December 23, 2024 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

Please note that on Monday, December 23, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Facilities and Asset Management, along with Johnson Controls, will be conducting testing of the campus microgrid system, resulting in potential brief power outages on the Waterloo campus. This work is being performed as part of the commissioning of the microgrid/power generation project.

This work will affect all buildings located on the campus block (bound by Albert Street, Bricker Avenue, King Street and University Avenue) except for Martin Luther University College:

• Dr. Alvin Woods Building

• Conrad Hall Residence
• Macdonald House Residence
• Willison Hall Residence

• Euler Residence
• Leupold Residence
• Bouckaert Hall Residence
• Bricker Residence

Please note that any building equipment connected to generator backup will continue to function during the work window. As a safety precaution, the elevators in the affected buildings will not be operational during this testing period.
