Print | PDFFacilities and Asset Management (FAM) & Special Constable Service (SCS) will be testing the Lockdown Button the week before winter term classes begin. The tests will take place on Thursday, January 2, at 2 p.m. on the Waterloo campus and 3 p.m. on the Brantford campus. The lockdown button is only used in an emergency to lock buildings that face an immediate threat and is part of Laurier’s emergency procedures. The lockdown will last no longer than an hour and include ALL buildings on campus. During the lockdown all exterior facing building doors will be locked. Those inside the buildings will be able to leave, however no one will be able to enter. Please plan accordingly.
