Fire Equipment Maintenance Work at the Research and Academic Centre - Thursday, January 2, 2025

Please note that on Thursday, January 2, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Richardson Fire will be at the Research and Academic Centre (150 Dalhousie Street) to conduct maintenance work to our fire suppression system. 

This work will require the installation and verification of devices (detectors, pull stations, etc.) in individual offices, classrooms, and any other location in which these may be installed. There is also required testing of annunciating devices (bells, horns, sirens), which will take place following the repair to the system.

Personnel from Richardson Fire Systems will be performing all verification activities with support from Laurier's Facilities and Asset Management department.

No action is required unless otherwise indicated by on-site staff.
