Laurier’s Student Wellness Centres will host a variety of virtual Thrive Week events from March 1 to 5 to support your mental, emotional and physical well-being.
Whether you want to re-energize your body, mind and social life, gain a better understanding of stress and strategies to manage it effectively, or maximize your learning and productivity, Thrive Week has something for you!
Participating in Thrive Week also earns you chances to win some incredible prize packs, including an Endy sleep kit, Lululemon yoga gift set, a Nintendo Switch Lite and lots of Hydro flask water bottles.

Feeling the impacts of the pandemic on your mental health? Connect with counsellors from the Student Wellness Centre during Anxiety and Depression 101, where you’ll learn more about depression and anxiety.

There’s nothing like a puppy to put some pep in your step! Join Paws-itive Puppy Hour with Leonard the French Bulldog as he goes live from doggy daycare, along with Student Wellness Centre counsellor Stephanie Dinsmore, to learn about self-care strategies.

Calling all first-year students! Join Peer Support for First Years: Making the Most Out of First Year Despite the Pandemic to discuss the impact the pandemic has had on your transition to university and learn strategies to make the best of the situation.
Grad students: Join Learning to Thrive to talk about your research, discuss topics like self-compassion, and learn practical ways to thrive more.
