PhD in Management, Marketing
I chose the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics because it provided me with an opportunity to work with top Marketing scholars, actively engaged in meaningful academic research. In addition to the faculty’s research interests being a good fit for what I wanted to study, I found the environment to be very supportive and conducive to effective training of doctoral students.
My research interests focus on issues surrounding marketing strategy and salesforce management. I intend to study how organizations and individuals within those organizations react to disruptions, how they recover from adverse challenges, and the role of resilience in doing so. My career goal is to attain a tenure track position in academia that allows me to contribute through conducting useful research and through teaching
