We have a variety of agreements and articulations with Ontario colleges that allow you to diversify your educational experience and complete your Human Rights (BA) degree at Laurier in less time. We encourage you to take the time to review all your options below. Regardless of the pathway you choose, throughout your Human Rights degree you will take courses in topics such as diversity, advocacy, cross-cultural perspectives, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and more.
Once you have accepted your offer, please consult Academic Advising and our Course Registration Guide to determine where you are with your program requirements, the specific courses you'll need to complete and the length of your academic journey at Laurier.

Students who have successfully completed a 2 or 3-year college diploma at an Ontario college may be eligible for admission into the Human Rights (BA) program at Laurier's Brantford campus via this block transfer agreement.
Please note, your exact transfer credits will be determined based on your unique academic journey and outlined in a transfer credit assessment as part of your offer package.
Students who have successfully completed Mohawk College's General Arts and Science Diploma may be eligible for admission into the Human Rights (BA) program at Laurier's Brantford campus via this 2+2 agreement.

Students who have successfully completed Conestoga College’s Human Services Foundations certificate may be eligible for admission into the Human Rights (BA) program at Laurier's Brantford campus via this articulation agreement.

Students who have successfully completed Conestoga College’s Office Administration General certificate may be eligible for admission into the Human Rights (BA) program at Laurier's Brantford campus via this articulation agreement.

Students who have successfully completed Conestoga College’s Office Administration – Executive diploma may be eligible for admission into the Human Rights (BA) program at Laurier's Brantford campus via this articulation agreement.
These are the transfer credits you will receive outlined in your offer letter if you are admitted via this pathway:
Students who have successfully completed Conestoga College’s Office Administration – Legal diploma may be eligible for admission into the Human Rights (BA) program at Laurier's Brantford campus via this articulation agreement.
These are the transfer credits you will receive outlined in your offer letter if you are admitted via this pathway:
Students who have successfully completed Conestoga College’s Career Development Professional, Event Management or Project Management graduate certificate, may be eligible for admission into the Human Rights (BA) program at Laurier's Brantford campus via this articulation agreement. Graduates must have also earned a diploma or advanced diploma from an accredited college*.
* If you have instead previously completed an undergraduate degree, you will be admitted to Post-Degree Studies where you can choose to work towards a Human Rights (BA) degree.
**Eligible transfer applicants will be granted 5.0 transfer credits from completing the graduate certificate program, in addition to any additional transfer credits they are eligible for from their diploma or advanced diploma, according to Laurier’s transfer credit policy.

In only four years, you can earn a Human Rights (BA) degree from Laurier and one of the following graduate certificates from Conestoga College: Career Development Professional, Event Management, Human Resources Management, Management in Community Services or Project Management. To enrol in courses at Conestoga College, you must obtain a Letter of Permission by submitting the online request form.

The timeline in which you attend Laurier may look different than what is listed above. You must have completed 10.0+ Laurier credits (including at least 2.5 credits towards your Human Rights major) before starting at Conestoga College. Connect with your academic advisor to determine your optimal course registration schedule.

If you are interested in transferring into this program with an academic history different than what is outlined above, apply using the undergraduate application form and your transfer credits will be assessed on an individual basis and reported to you, along with your offer letter, upon admission to Laurier.
